A few months earlier, in December 2020, the Occupational Safety and Health at Work Act itself was amended (Law No. 89(I)/1996-2020). The Regulations R.A.A. 158/2021 replace the Regulations R.A.A. 173/2002 in order to improve the legislation and compliance of our State with the recommendations of the competent European Authority on occupational safety and health issues. At the same time, the same regulations replace the Decree 134/1997 on Safety Committees.
