The ISO 45001, (formerly OHSAS 18001), is an International Standard that specifies requirements for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). It gives guidance for its use to enable a company (even one with low-risk daily operations) to improve its performance and to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing injury and unwanted incidents.
ISO 45001 has been established to apply even in small businesses, regardless of size or type. The ISO 45001 standard’s primary goal is to eliminate or minimise any hazards and risks and to successfully manage the emergency situations.
