Scheme for the Introduction of Environmental Management System (EMAS) 2022

The Environment Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment has announced the Scheme for the introduction of an Environmental Management System (EMAS) based on the provisions of the
of the relevant Regulation 1221/2009/EC.

The funding program aims to increase the environmental performance of organizations both in Public and Private Sector

 

Acceptable Expenses: 

Consulting Services

Expenses for the Development of an Environmental Management System according to the EMAS requirements

 

Maximum subsidy €2000

Verification/ Validation

Expenses for the Inspection, verification and validation of the implemented Environmental Management System

Maximum subsidy €500

The same amount of €500, is provided for upgrading your EMS from ISO 14001 to EMAS.

 

The intensity of the fund is 70% of the acceptable expenses.
