The purpose of this health and safety training program is to cover the requirements of the 2021 Regulations (K.D.P. 237/2021) and the Directives (K.D.P. 240/2021) and (K.D.P. 239/2021) regarding the establishment and operation of the Safety Committees in the workplace. The training is suitable for employers, employees, and safety committee representatives, offering knowledge in the Establishment and operation of Health and Safety Committees in the workplace, the role of Employer and employee participation and consultation on health and safety issues, the role of Safety Representatives and their designation according to Regulation (K.D.P. 239/2021). It also addresses issues such as accident management, workplace hazards, and the implementation of protection measures. Participants will gain practical knowledge on the operation of the Committees, the procedures to follow, and compliance with health and safety regulations applicable in Cyprus. The instructors of the health and safety training program are certified by the Labour Inspection Department as External Protection and Prevention Service providers (ΕΞΥΠΠ) and by HRDA.

The training program for Internal Protection and Prevention Services (ESYPP), is based on the provision of the 2021 Regulations (K.D.P. 158/2021) and the Directive (K.D.P. 238/2021). The seminar is suitable for employers, self-employed individuals, and ESYPP members, offering specialized training in risk management and employee protection. Participants will gain knowledge and skills in areas such as conducting inspections and measuring hazardous factors, preparing the Written Risk Assessment, providing guidance and consulting on preventive measures, managing workplace accidents and occupational diseases, preparing and implementing risk management systems. Upon completing the training, ESYPP members will be ready to meet the requirements of their role, while employers will ensure that their business fully complies with current regulations. The seminar covers specialized topics, and its duration is tailored to meet the needs of each participant’s role, as outlined by the legislation. The instructors of the training are certified by the Labour Inspection Department as External Protection and Prevention Service Provider (ΕΞΥΠΠ) and by HRDA.

The New ISO 45001:2018 Standard is here to replace the OHSAS 18001 standard and concerns any business that wants to improve health and safety in the work environment. The purpose of the seminar is to inform the participants about the requirements of the International Standard and how it can be effectively implemented in any business through a Health & Safety Management System (HSMS).

The purpose of this health and safety seminar is to inform and train the employees of each company on the occupational health and safety issues, as they are provided by the relevant legislation and the Labor Inspection Department of Cyprus. The ultimate goal of the training program is to communicate the company's policy about health and safety at work and to increase the levels of preparedness and response to emergencies involving staff and third parties within its area of responsibility.

A basic requirement of Occupational Health & Safety legislation is the availability of trained First Aid providers, the number of which depends on the nature and activity of each business. They should also be given the right to consult and participate in the issues covered by the regulations. The aim of the seminar is to train operators and harmonise the business with the relevant legislation and therefore to make sure that the operators can handle the lifting platform safely.

The purpose of this health and safety training program is for all the employees of the company, to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to identify and respond to potential emergencies, accidents and crises that may have an impact on the safety of employees, visitors, equipment, products and facilities of the business. This includes management of accidents, effective usage of fire extinguishers, safe usage of chemicals, legionella prevention etc.

The purpose of the seminar is to inform the executives of the interested companies about the requirements of the legislation regarding the classification and labelling of substances and preparations, as well as the establishment and proper use of Safety Data Sheets, Labels and Markings taking into account all regulations governing the labelling of Detergents and Biocides.

All organisations are currently required to create an Action Plan for Covid-19 prevention, by adopting all these measures provided in the Government's protocols. The successful handling of Covid-19 requires planning, monitoring and employee's training. Scope of this health and safety training program is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills that will help them not only to manage the situation but also to protect their employees Health and Safety as well as the company's liability.

All incidents, as Covid-19 pandemic, are definitely unexpected and businesses need to face the results. Most of the incidents are related to risks and threats such as hazards, natural disasters (earthquakes, fires, floods, storms), loss of power supply (electricity, oil, etc.), virus infection (coronavirus, hepatitis), terrorism, government and political instability, which will lead to the company's temporary or complete closure. Consequently, on the question of what could make our business more resistant to such situations that would strengthen our chain link, the answer is prevention through a plan or even an entire System of Business Continuity (BCMS- ISO 22301: 2019). The purpose of the training program is to provide participants with the relevant knowledge and skills which will help them to recognise the risks, to analyse & evaluate them and to develop their own business continuity plan.
