Title: GDPR Training Program for E-SHOPS
The General Regulation of European Union for the Personal Data Protection – GDPR (EU 2016/679) is very essential for companies that active as e-shops, as there is continuous management of data related to the identity of their customers (eg name, phone , email, Credit Card number, address etc). However, the establishment of a Privacy Policy does not provide full compliance with the specific regulation.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the use of e-shops and online shopping has been dramatically increased. The risks for Personal Data breach are multiple and all businesses must comply urgently.
The purpose of the training program is for the participants to get the necessary knowledge about the current legal framework for the personal data protection in Cyprus and EU level, but also to get acquainted with the ways of compliance in their online store.
