May 2026 – EHS System is an essential tool to prevent Accidents and manage Environmental Safety. Many of the incidents related to the Safety of people have negative impact to the environment. Historical incidents showed that luck of knowledge, luck of management can lead to crisis.
Environmental Health and Safety is about protecting people, properties and the planet by managing risks, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and creating safety in workplace and communities. It covers all environmental aspects from pollution control and waste management (Environment) to preventing accidents and promoting wellbeing. It involves the development of policies, assessment of hazards, training of employees, and implementation of procedures to meet regulations and create a safe, healthy and more sustainable practices.
In this training program participants will be trained in the development, implementation and monitoring of an integrated Environmental-Health-Safety (EHS) System, with the aim of preventing accidents and protecting the environment. Moreover, they will be able to:
- apply EHS principles.
- carry out a risk analysis
- develop prevention and preparedness plans
- comply with local laws
- cultivate a culture of safety and protection
