The Scheme Α.Α 4.2 “Investments in the Processing and/or Marketing of Agricultural Products” has been announced by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (MECI), in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture.
This announcement informs interested parties that the Implementation Manual – Applicant Information for Intervention A.A. 4.2 “Investments in the Processing and/or Marketing of Agricultural Products” has been published on the website of the Department of Industry and Technology (https://www.industry.gov.cy/gr/).
Applications will be submitted exclusively online through the MECI Grant Schemes Electronic System during the period to be specified in the relevant call for proposals, which will be announced.
Eligible Sectors and Activities
The Scheme covers existing and/or new units that are activated or will be activated in the processing of agricultural products listed in the Annex I (of the scheme manual), except for the products listed in the Annex II (of the scheme manual).
The minimum amount of the proposed investment (eligible expenses) is set at €20,000 for Beneficiaries A and €10,000 for Beneficiaries B.
The amount of the grant is 50% of eligible expenses for all categories of Beneficiaries, with a maximum grant the amount of €400,000 for Beneficiaries A and €200,000 for Beneficiaries B.
In the case of very small enterprises (Beneficiaries B) that are established or will be established in mountainous and disadvantaged areas, which specified in Annex VI, the grant will amount to 60% of eligible costs and the maximum grant will be €300,000.
