Description of the training program

External Quality Control in clinical laboratories, is applied to an external standard by an external body and is based on the results of sample analysis at regular intervals by many laboratories. It is an effective way to monitor the performance of the laboratory and check the validity of the overall quality system.

The identification and taking of corrective measures to avoid or eliminate errors in external quality control is a daily occupation of the scientific staff of the laboratories.
