Description of the training program
Cyberattacks are one of the fastest-growing forms of crime worldwide. In today’s digital age, understanding cyber risks has become increasingly important. The EU Cyber Security Act defines this as “the activities required to protect network and information systems, the users of those systems, and other persons affected by cyber threats.” The proliferation of digital devices, networks, and cloud-based services, coupled with the huge growth in online services, has led to an increase in cyberattacks. For example, there has been a significant rise in data breaches, social engineering attacks, internet scams, and malware infections (e.g., ransomware). These attacks can result in substantial financial losses, reputational damage, and legal liability. Cybersecurity awareness involves knowledge and understanding of the risks associated with digital devices and networks, and the measures individuals and organizations can take to mitigate these risks.
Cybersecurity awareness is a critical component of modern digital security. It helps individuals and organizations protect themselves from cyber threats, comply with regulatory requirements, and avoid legal penalties. By prioritizing cybersecurity awareness, individuals and organizations can safeguard their digital assets and maintain trust with their customers and stakeholders.
The topics of the seminar are ideal for:
- Employees in institutions and enterprises using information and communication technologies in their work
